Sending or Scheduling Event Blasts

Learn how to send or schedule Blasts to communicate to guest more about your event.

Blasts are a great way to share more information about your event, such as announcing a special guest, an event update, or a logistical change.

You can send a blast from your event > Manage Event > Blasts tab.

Blasts will be sent via email, SMS, and push notifications. Guests will receive an SMS if they have linked their phone number or a push notification if they have the Luma app. Blast will also be displayed on the event page for logged-in guests.

By default, Blasts will be sent to ‘Going’ guests. If you want more control over the Blast, you can click on Advanced.

From here, you can control the recipients of the Blasts, including different possible guest statuses or specific ticket types. You can add a subject line and longer text to your Blasts, with our Rich Text Editor. And you can schedule when the Blast should be sent.
