Collect Registration Questions

We collect name and email for all guests, you can collect more information

You can add registration questions for your event to collect more information as guests join your event. You can control the number of questions and if they are required or not.

We have the following question types:

  • Text — Short or Long Text

  • Options — Choose One or Multiple

  • Social Profile — Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube

  • Company

  • Checkbox

  • Terms — Useful for requiring someone to sign terms and conditions

  • Website

When a guest registers, they will be prompted to fill out the registration questions you choose. You will be able to see a guest's answers when clicking on the guest. And you can download a CSV of all guests to see all registration questions.

You can set up registration questions after you create an event from the Registration section on the Manage Event page.

Splitting First and Last Name

By default, we show one Name field as guests register or sign up for Luma. We think that's the easiest possible experience.

If you want to ensure that guests are entering in their full name, you can split First and Last Name into two different inputs. You'll need to be on Luma Plus to enable this setting.

Unsupported Features

  • We do not support conditional questions or branching logic.

  • We do not support questions specific to a given ticket type.

  • We do not support disabling Name or Email collection.
