Need to contact an event host about registration, refunds, or other questions? Here are the ways you can reach out to event organizers on Luma.

Contact the Host Button

The easiest way to reach an event host is through the Contact the Host button:

  • Available on event pages on the lu.ma website, iOS app, and Android app
  • You must be signed in to Luma to use this feature
  • Type your message and the host will receive it via email
  • The host will reply directly to your email address

Reply to Event Emails

You can reply to most automated emails from Luma about the event:

  • Registration confirmation emails
  • Event reminders
  • Calendar invites
  • Event updates

When you reply to these emails, your message goes directly to the event host, not to Luma support.

Additional Contact Methods

Check the event description - Many hosts include additional contact information or social media handles in the event details

Look at the host's calendar page - Click on the host's name to view their calendar, which may include:

  • Links to their website
  • Social media profiles
  • Business contact information

Common Reasons to Contact Hosts

Registration questions:

  • Waitlist status
  • Event capacity
  • Registration requirements
  • Group registrations

Changes and cancellations:

  • Unable to attend
  • Need to update registration information
  • Request a refund (for paid events)
  • Transfer tickets to someone else

Tips for Contacting Hosts

  • Be specific about your question or request
  • Include the event name and date in your message
  • If requesting a refund, explain your situation clearly
  • Allow reasonable time for a response - hosts may not check messages immediately

What If I Need Platform Support?

For technical issues with the Luma platform itself (not event-specific questions), contact Luma support at support@lu.ma. This includes:

  • Payment processing errors
  • Account access issues
  • Platform bugs or errors

Important: Luma Support cannot update your registration status or process refunds for events. Only event hosts can:

  • Approve or deny registrations
  • Process refunds for paid events
  • Update guest information
  • Manage waitlists
